Cardano Founder Takes Aim At Craig Wright In Wake of Bitcoin Core and Square Lawsuit
Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, recently criticized Craig Wright’s latest legal action—a £911 billion lawsuit against Bitcoin Core and Square. Hoskinson expressed frustration over Wright’s ongoing legal manoeuvres, calling them an abuse of the legal system fuelled by baseless claims and delusional behaviour.
Wright’s lawsuit claims that Bitcoin Core Vision/BTC falsely represents itself as the original Bitcoin, and seeks a massive £911 billion in damages as per CaseBoard report. Despite continuous disputes and skepticism, Wright continues to assert himself as the true inventor of Bitcoin.
Hoskinson took to Twitter to express his frustration, questioning why Wright wasn’t facing legal consequences for what he labelled as “fantasies and sociopathic delusions.” This public critique reflects widespread aversion towards Wright’s controversial legal practices.
The clash between Hoskinson and Wright has a long history, with Wright previously criticizing Hoskinson and the Cardano project. Hoskinson, along with the wider crypto industry, has expressed doubts about Wright’s claims of being Satoshi, citing differences in knowledge, character, communication style, and focus on patents that don’t align with Satoshi’s principles.
HBO recently brought forward Peter Todd as the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto, sparking debates within the crypto community. However, Todd quickly denied these claims. Similarly, previous speculations about Len Sassaman being Satoshi have proven to be false.
The identity of Satoshi Nakamoto remains one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in the crypto world, leaving enthusiasts and experts, including Charles Hoskinson, still searching for answers.
