In a recent turn of events, Tobias Andersen, also known as Zaradar, a former core developer of Terra Classic (LUNC), has sparked controversy within the LUNC community by ridiculing the cryptocurrency’s price logic in relation to Bitcoin (BTC). Zaradar’s remarks in a tweet highlighted what he perceived as a significant discrepancy between Bitcoin’s price movements and those of LUNC, sarcastically dubbing it “Lunatic logic.”
Zaradar Mocks The LUNC’s Price Logic
Zaradar drew attention to the fact that when Bitcoin experiences a 2% drop in value, LUNC tends to plummet by 10% or more. Conversely, when Bitcoin surges by 25%, LUNC fails to reflect any substantial gains. Accompanying his tweet was a mocking GIF featuring a panda, which further emphasized the humorous tone of his message. The tweet generated a range of reactions within the cryptocurrency community.

Lunatic logic: BTC drops 2%, LUNC drops 10%+. No problem, its all BTC.
Lunatic logic: BTC goes up 25%, LUNC goes no where. No problem, its not correlated to BTC.

LUNC Community Reacts To Zaradar’s Comments
One user acknowledged that LUNC often struggles to gain momentum, even after updates, and remains on par with other coins in the market. This sentiment indicates a lack of significant price movement despite notable developments within the Terra Classic network. It is worth mentioning that the L1 Team recently completed a substantial Terra Classic network upgrade, introducing parity with Luna 2.0 and Cosmos, as Captured by Cryptolifedigital.
Zaradar expressed his belief that trust is challenging to establish in an environment filled with bullies, likening the situation to a schoolyard battle royal. He speculated that centralized exchanges (CEXs) might grow weary of the ongoing turmoil surrounding LUNC, potentially leading to decentralized exchanges (DEXs) taking charge of revitalizing the project. Another commenter agreed, suggesting that the price discrepancy demonstrated a fundamental problem within LUNC. Zaradar concurred, further suggesting that claims of network effects, user base, and distribution may have been exaggerated.
The problem is that trust is hard to build in a schoolyard full of bullies. At best you end up with Battle Royal, which it looks like we have going on atm. I am sure CEXs will eventually tire of it all and leave it for the DEXs to try to pick up the slack🤷♂️

Amidst the discussions, a commenter humorously called for an unbiased CEO-leader to guide LUNC and lamented the lack of democratic decision-making in digital oligarchies. This highlights the desire for transparent leadership and democratic processes within the cryptocurrency community.
The controversy sparked by Zaradar’s tweet raises questions about the perceived price discrepancies within LUNC and the overall viability of the project. As the community continues to debate these issues, it remains to be seen how the Terra Classic network and its community will address the concerns raised by Zaradar and others.
