The future of XRP, whether it will be bullish or bearish, hinges on various factors, one of which is the ongoing legal battle between Ripple and the SEC. The SEC is pursuing $2 billion in penalties for Ripple’s alleged sale of unregistered securities. The lawsuit’s outcome could significantly influence market sentiment toward XRP.
Furthermore, the recent approval of the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act (FIT21 bill) could introduce additional complexities for Ripple, XRP, and the SEC.
Currently, XRP and other major altcoins are experiencing daily gains of just over 2%, and the global cryptocurrency market cap has risen by 2.46%. Despite XRP’s daily, weekly, and monthly losses totalling 6.93%, it is presently trading at a price of $0.53.
