Shiba Inu’s Co-Founder, Shytoshi Kusama, Playfully Taunts the Launch of a Dogecoin Gaming Platform
Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, recently made comments on a public platform, where he indirectly criticized Jordan Jefferson, the founder of the ‘MyDoge’ Dogecoin wallet. Kusama expressed doubts about an upcoming game on the Dogecoin network that Jordan had discussed. At the same time, he emphasized the SHIB ecosystem game, Shiba Eternity.
Kusama’s Response
Kusama’s response, “Laughs in Shiba Eternity,” was interpreted as a dismissive reaction to the upcoming Doge game, especially given recent developments related to the Shibarium game.

The Shiba Eternity Web3 game, although not yet available on Shibarium, has announced a welcome package for its play-to-earn (P2E) version. The game’s transition from a Web2 to a Web3 ecosystem is expected to occur soon.
On the other hand, Dogecoin, a significant SHIB competitor, has garnered considerable excitement with the upcoming launch of its gaming platform. The competition between the dog-themed meme coins is heating up as they both aim to enter the play-to-earn (P2E) sector.
Binance Stance Spark Speculations
In a separate development, Binance, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, recently posted a picture of the Shiba Inu dog breed on a public platform, with the caption, “Guardian of the crypto universe.”
Significantly, SHIB KNIGHT, a prominent member of the meme token’s community, further highlighted the post, bringing attention to the SHIB community. Speculation also surfaced in the market, suggesting that the post may hint at other coins such as Neiro and Dogecoin.
Additionally, at the time of writing, SHIB was trading at $0.0000141, representing a 0.04% increase in the past day, while DOGE was trading at $0.1042, reflecting a 0.74% decrease in the past 24 hours.
Furthermore, SHIB’s marketing lead, Lucie, initiated discussions in the broader crypto market, stating, “In the last 12 months, SHIB outperformed ETH in terms of performance,” in a post on a public platform. As of the current time, SHIB’s yearly gains stood at 44.10%, while ETH’s yearly gains were at 42%.
