Anticipated Launch of Stablecoin by Ripple
The stablecoin will be backed 1-to-1 by US Dollar deposits, US government bonds, and other low-risk investments, with the aim of increasing liquidity and providing more opportunities for developers and users. This announcement has generated interest among the XRP community, as it is viewed as a more trustworthy alternative to other stablecoins such as Tether's (USDT) and Circle's (USDC).
