Coinbase, one of the world-leading crypto exchanges announced its partnership with BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, to provide institutional clients of Aladdin®, BlackRock’s end-to-end investment management platform, with direct access to crypto, starting with bitcoin, through connectivity with Coinbase Prime.

As stated on Coinbase’s official website, through this partnership, Coinbase prime will provide crypto trading, custody, prime brokerage, and reporting capabilities to Aladdin’s institutional client base who are also Coinbase’s clients.
The partnership will bring to Alladin’s clients an advanced agency trading, custody, prime financing, staking framework, data, and reporting that supports the entire transaction lifecycle and more also, all the above stated will be combined leading security, insurance, and compliance practices to provide institutional clients of Coinbase with a full-service platform to access crypto markets at scale.
The global head of Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships at BlackRock, Joseph Chalom, said:
