Ripple Case May End September 6 Acccording To Deaton

In the ongoing Ripple case, the legal counselor for XRP  John Deaton has made a new assumption with respect to when the court decision could come.

In a CryptoLaw broadcast yesterday, lawyer Deaton guessed that Judge Analisa Torres could give the decision on Sept. 6, 2023. according to his speculations, Judge Torres normally gives her choices on summary judgment within a couple of months of her decisions on the Daubert/Master movements.

As proven in Judge Torres’ past cases, there was a situation where she delivered her outline judgment choice around the same day as her Daubert administering.

Moreover, Deaton said there were additional times after Judge Torres ruled on the Daubert motion; it took around two to a half years before she delivered the synopsis judgment.

Utilizing the half-year time period and Judge Torres’ decision on the Daubert movement in the Ripple lawsuit on March 6, Deaton conjectured that the synopsis judgment could come on Sept. 6.

According to Deaton “There was a case that she decided, where here summary judgment came six months after her Daubert decision. So six months from her Daubert decision, if it were on March 6, would be on September 6”

It is worth noting that Deaton’s remark on the conceivable decision timeline dispels the gossip that the SEC versus Ripple case is taking more time than each and every other case she has managed.

The Reason Behind The Delay As Explained By Deaton

It is significant that the XRP community has communicated disappointment over the delay in delivering the synopsis judgment.

Remarking on the turn of events, lawyer Deaton noticed that Judge Torres could postpone the decision since she figures out the meaning of the SEC versus Ripple claim.

According to him, Judge Torres comprehends that the Ripple lawsuit is of incredible magnitude. Deaton added that Judge Torres knows many individuals, including Appellate Courts, will be interested in her synopsis judgment decision in Ripple’s case.

Similarly, Judge Torres has 500 open cases to settle on; Deaton said, “How many cases does Judge Torres Have, well, I checked this morning and she has over 500 open cases and 44 of those cases are criminal cases”

furthermore, Deaton said that Torres needs to go through hundreds and thousands of pages from Ripple and SEC filings.

“…. Ripple filed a summary judgment motion. SEC filed a summary motion, so each filed a ceremony judgment motion. Then each side object to the other side’s summary motion, and then each side gets a reply to the other side’s summary judgment motion. See how complex this can get now, you have summary judge a motion for Brad Garlinghouse and Chris Larson so many judgments on behalf of the SEC and so many judgments on behalf of Ripple, so each of this brief is over 5o pages, so you’re talking about hundreds and hundreds of pages of just the argument that need to be gone through”

Meanwhile, Deaton had predicted a potential end date for the lawsuit.  Deaton anticipated recently that Judge Torres could give the outline judgment choice prior to May 6. Be that as it may, things didn’t go as he anticipated, as the judge presently is yet to rule.
