Shiba Inu’s Shibarium L2 Blockchain Launches Official LinkedIn Account
In a recent development, the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency project has expanded its social media presence by launching an official LinkedIn account for its Layer 2 blockchain, Shibarium. This significant move was announced on X (formerly Twitter) by Shiba Inu’s community admin, known as RagnarShib.
Shiba Inu, a popular canine-themed cryptocurrency, is now managing two official LinkedIn accounts—one for its metaverse project called “Shib: the Metaverse” and the other dedicated to Shibarium, its Layer 2 blockchain.

RagnarShib, in the announcement, provided a link to Shibarium’s official LinkedIn account and encouraged SHIB enthusiasts to follow both accounts to receive updates related to the project’s professional activities. This initiative follows a previous warning from RagnarShib regarding fake LinkedIn accounts claiming to represent Shiba Inu. Some malicious actors falsely identified themselves as official Shiba Inu team members and approached crypto exchanges to list the Fantom chain version of SHIB. As a result, RagnarShib emphasized that Shiba Inu did not have an official LinkedIn account until this recent launch.
The sole official LinkedIn account for Shiba Inu, managed by Marcie Jastrow, was created for Shib: The Metaverse. The introduction of a LinkedIn account for Shibarium signifies the blockchain’s increasing presence on major social media platforms.
Earlier this year, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, launched a Telegram channel for Shibarium, while the Shiba Inu team introduced an X account for the L2 blockchain. Additionally, Shibarium maintains an official Discord channel with nearly 15,000 members.

This expansion across various social media platforms is in response to the growing adoption of Shibarium, which has experienced substantial growth since its launch on August 16. The blockchain has processed over 3.48 million transactions, with more than 1.25 million addresses interacting with the network and 1.18 million blocks produced thus far. Notably, Shibarium boasts an average block time of 5.0 seconds, positioning it as one of the fastest Ethereum scaling solutions.
In the latest developments, the number of daily transactions on Shibarium has seen a remarkable surge, with a 202% increase in the past 24 hours. According to data from Shibariumscan, daily transactions on the platform surged from 10,940 to 33,050. This spike can be attributed to the recent launch of Sharbi Token (SHARBI), which made its debut on Shibarium by listing on the Marswap decentralized exchange at 21:00 (UTC).
The launch of SHARBI on Shibarium drew the attention of SHIB enthusiasts, who flocked to the decentralized exchange to acquire this meme-based cryptocurrency. The project’s rapid expansion and increased activity highlight the growing interest and participation in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, particularly its Shibarium blockchain.
