Solana Outperform Ethereum in Key Metrics
As per MarketVector report highlights that Solana outperforms Ethereum in key metrics. Solana processes 3000% more transactions and boasts 1300% more daily active users than Ethereum, while maintaining transaction fees that are 5 million percent cheaper. Despite these advantages, Solana’s market capitalization remains at only 22% of Ethereum’s, sparking discussions about its potential to challenge Ethereum’s dominance.

Technical analysis in the report indicates that Solana could capture 50% of Ethereum’s market cap, driving its price to $330. The expansion of the DeFi sector, stablecoins, and payments is expected to fuel the growth of the Solana blockchain. Additionally, the report underlines the significance of decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and DEX aggregators in enhancing Solana’s appeal to users and investors through fast, low-fee transactions.

Following the release of the report, Solana’s price experienced a 3.23% surge to $151.43, with a 24-hour high of $153.55, reflecting a 17% increase in value over the past seven days. CoinGlass data also revealed a 1% rise in Solana Futures Open Interest to $2.44 billion.
While retail investors are recognizing the advantages of Solana, institutional adoption has been slower due to Ethereum’s first-mover advantage and wider institutional trust. This has led to hesitancy among investors to allocate significant capital into Solana.
