Ripple Hire 50 Engineers For Its Toronto crypto-based Office.
Recall the tweet shared by the Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse on the decision of the blockchain to hire hundreds of roles around the globe.
Ripple, a blockchain provider, and cryptocurrency solutions announced on Thursday the opening of Canada’s office. Despite the ongoing massive selloff and job cuts in the cryptocurrency space, the San Fransisco-based crypto startup is still having an eye on the expansion.

Ripple is set to fulfill its plans of hiring hundreds of blockchain developers by hiring 50 engineers for its Toronto base. This will be Ripple’s first Canadian headquarters as they continue to expand throughout North America.
As stated by the Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse:
“Cryptocurrency and blockchain give a great opportunity for engineers to solve complex issues, with the potential for these solutions to impact the global movement of value.”
Why the Recruitment
- A lot of solutions like cross-border payments and a complete platform for minting, maintaining, transacting, and eliminating central bank currencies (CBDCs) are provided by Ripple. Although the technology business is on the increase yet human resources have been long the main issue.
- As developers are a scarce commodity and the cryptocurrency firm is a more specialized subsector, organizations are significantly competing to hire and retain them.

Also, the establishment of Toronto’s office is part of their main aim, to expand the crypto-related throughout Canada. Although, Ripple has already established a University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) in the region and is collaborating with universities and colleges including the University of Waterloo and Toronto Metropolitan University.
The current legal dispute between Ripple and the SEC took a new development as the court refuted the SEC’s request to seal the proceedings.
