2 Trillion Shiba Inu Whales Grab $9 Million in APE: Report

ETH which holds a Huge amount of  Shiba Inu meme cryptocurrency has acquired large chunks of the trendy APE token, which is the most traded cryptocurrency among the 100 biggest ETH whales at the moment.

Meanwhile, Shiba remains the largest holding by USD equivalent.

Two large SHIB whales grab half a million APE

WhaleStats crypto tracker has reported that two major whales who are invested in Ethereum and ERC-20 coins have purchased APE tokens worth $9 million in total.

Whale “Jiraiya” has acquired 499,998 APE worth $8.1 million, and “Bombur” grabbed 70,804 APE—the equivalent of $1,255,359.

The wallet of these investors also holds substantial amounts of Shiba Inu:  “Jiraiya” holds $39,674,380 worth of Shiba (8.07% of his portfolio) and “Bombur” owns $19,498,030 worth of SHIB (5.55% of his portfolio).

“Bombur” wallet now contains $16,032,829 in APE, and “Jiraiya” stores $8,625,918 in APE.

As per the main page of the WhaleStats site, APE is currently the most-traded token among the 100 largest ETH investors. Earlier this month, “Bombur” purchased several massive lumps of SHIB, totaling more than 100 billion coins.

SHIB has outperformed other ETH-based tokens once again, including FTT, MATIC, and LINK, being the largest asset in USD equivalent held by whales.

The cumulative portfolio of these investors now contains $1,009,523,071 worth of Shiba, which totals 46,927,357,777,137 canine tokens, or 15.34% of the portfolio.

FTX is breathing down SHIB’s neck here, with $894,267,385 worth of FTT holdings (13.58% of the comprised portfolio).
