XRP TipBot Returns to the Crypto Community with Modified Functionality

In a recent tweet, Forex Cadet, the author of the XRPL TipBot xApp, shared exciting news about the return of the XRP TipBot to the crypto community. The TipBot, a popular tipping service on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), had been temporarily disabled due to changes in Twitter’s API access policy. However, after implementing the necessary modifications, the TipBot is now back in service, albeit with a few minor issues.

Forex Cadet expressed relief at the TipBot’s return but cautioned users about potential delays in detecting tweets. While the functionality of the TipBot remains intact, the modifications made in response to Twitter’s policy changes took longer than anticipated. Therefore, users may experience a slight delay in the system recognizing their tweets. The developer requested patience from the crypto community during this stabilization period, as unforeseen issues may still arise.

The tweet mentioned the prompt identification and resolution of the initial problem that led to the temporary suspension of the TipBot. Forex Cadet extended apologies to users who faced difficulties while utilizing the service during that time.

Facts About XRP TipBot

For those unfamiliar with the XRP TipBot, Forex Cadet created a comprehensive guide in the form of a YouTube video titled “All About the New XRP Ledger TipBot.” In this video, users can learn how to send XRP tips to fellow Twitter users by registering with TipBot. The process involves adding a tip message to any tweet and having the Xumm wallet, a non-custodial crypto wallet, pre-installed on their smartphone. The Xumm wallet is used to send and receive XRP tips.

To register with the TipBot, users must sign in with a tweet containing a unique code and hashtag from the Xumm wallet. The TipBot detects the tweet, and users can then authorize their preferred address for receiving tips. Once registered, users can start sending and receiving tips by including a tip message, amount, currency, and the appropriate TipBot hashtags in their tweets.

Digital PerspectivesPermaBul, a well-known influencer in the XRP community, demonstrated the tipping message on Twitter. This exciting development brings back the functionality of the XRP TipBot, allowing users to engage in tipping and supporting one another within the community.
