SpendTheBits Is launched On The XRPL To Allow Faster And Low-Cost Bitcoin Transaction With Merchants, Who Accept Bitcoin As A Payment Method

In an attempt to get the issue of delay and high Bitcoin transactions, a new payment platform was released to permit users to send Bitcoin faster and cheaper to merchants who accept digital currency as a mode of payment.

It is worth noting that the SpendTheBits (STB) is a payment solution released on Ripple’s XRP Ledger (XRPL) to ensure users do faster and more low-cost Bitcoin transactions with merchants.

The SpendTheBits developers launched the solution on Ripple to leverage the limitless payments feature of Bitcoin, which includes faster, cheaper, and eco-friendly transactions. 

“By deploying a user’s bitcoin onto the XRPL, Users get all of the benefits as they will be able to send fast, cheap & eco-friendly payments to merchants,” SpendTheBits said in a recent tweet. 

SpendTheBits is currently present in Canada, with the focus to roll out the service in the Bitcoin-friendly country, El Salvador. The app is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. Aside from making payments with STB, users can also store their crypto assets on the platform.

Attorney John Deaton once mentioned on his Twitter handle when he was challenging people that tagged XRP as a security.
