Exchanges Add Support For The Flare Token Airdrop Ahead Of The Distribution Date, Crypto.Com Adds Support Recently

Crypto.com added its support for the Flare token airdrop as its distribution date to the XRP holders approaches.

Long before this time exchanges like Huobi Japan announced their support for the Flare airdrop for the XRP holders.

Crypto.Com Adds Support For The Flare Token Airdrop

Per the Crypto.Com; “Crypto.com is supporting the Flare (FLR) airdrop for XRP holders from supported jurisdictions,”

The exchange explained further that the FLR will be distributed based on the balance of its XRP holders as of the time a snapshot was taken on December 12, 2020, at 00:00 UTC. 

It is worth noting that the FLR has now become the talk of the town for the Ripple community as the XRP holders have long for the airdrop since last year.

Fortunately, Flare Network CEO Hugo Philon disclosed that an upgrade of Songbird caused the delay in Flare’s launch and the distribution of FLR.

“For all those asking where their FLR is. We are upgrading Songbird, before the end of March 2022, with the final two protocols required before the Flare launch. This will then allow us to proceed with the Flare launch…” 

Flare Token To Be Distributed Soon

The Flare team slated the distribution of its token for the XRP holders between October 24th, 2022 and November 6th, 2022 following the launching of its network validator code. And After the announcement, the team behind the Flare said the exercise would be determined by its ability to attract a good number of validators.

“Provided sufficient validators have taken up their role, the Token Distribution Event will take place between 24th October and 6th November.”
